Short Diving Getaway | Phi Phi Islands & Crystal Bay

Phi Phi Islands and Crystal Bay are popular diving spots for new divers in Thailand. These diving spots are accessible from both Krabi and Phuket. On a good day, visibility in Phi Phi Islands and Crystal Bay can go up to 10m, which I feel is pretty decent for such a highly-populated dive site! Rarely you would chance upon big friendly giants like sharks or etc as there aren't much currents. That being said, it makes a good dive site for beginners!

What I saw while diving in Phi Phi Islands and Crystal Bay:

• Welcomed by schools of fishes, which shocked me entirely when they changed direction suddenly

• So many of my favourite fish - NEMO!!!!!

• Greeted by a cute jellyfish when I was about to ascend!

• Not forgetting, turtles!!

What else to do in Phuket?

In fact, Phuket is a pretty chill "beachy" location, where typical activities would include:

• Beach bumming

• Watching sunsets

• Having picnics

We also watched the Phuket Simon Cabaret show, which was quite an eyeopener! Tickets could be bought easily from Klook and do remember to go earlier to get better seats (it's free seating!). At the end of the show, you could take pictures with the performers but remember that you'd need to pay EACH performer for taking pictures with them!
